J&M History
It all started in 1971...
J&M Garden Machinery first started trading in Chilworth in 1971.
After leaving school at 16 in 1980, Stephen Purser began working for the business full time before taking ownership in 1986.
In 2004 J&M moved to a larger premises in Bramley, where it currently resides today.
The two converted greenhouses have provided an exciting new chapter for J&M, notably accompanied by Janet Wlliams' 'Highbanks Nursery'.
After taking a break from the business, Stephen has recently returned to full time running of J&M Garden Machinery.
